Okay, so the meal planning done for the week and, since I'm sick, Hubby & Bean have gone to the grocery where I get my produce to stock up on yummy fruits and veg for the week. I simply refuse to buy the produce at the local commissary (unless it's apples, onions or potatoes). Their other stuff is just too icky and I've put my fingers through too many furry tomatoes there. I'm not kidding. I really miss the lovely Spanish produce we used to get at the commissary in Germany.

A couple of things I'm trying this week for the first time: steel cut oats, almond milk, homemade Truvia-sweetened lemonade and Greek-style yogurt with fresh berries and ground flaxseed (I've used Greek-style yogurt in my smoothies in the past, but I haven't eaten it as, you know, yogurt).

On tap for dinner tonight: grilled sirloin fajitas with homemade guacamole, sauteed onions and Carb-Balance tortillas. Mmmmmm. Oh, and that Truvia-sweetened lemonade. I'll let you know how it goes.
